  2. A soldier understands that
    the world needs his help.
  3. Jesus understood that the world needed his help.
  4. A soldier leaves his happy home to serve strangers in foreign lands.
  5. Jesus left his Heavenly home to serve ungrateful men on Earth.
  6. A soldier spends time training and serving.
  7. Jesus grew, learned & taught.
  8. A soldier faces his fears right before the battle and then he goes forward.
  9. Jesus spent a night in the Garden praying to be delivered (if there was any other way).There wasn’t, so He went forward into battle.
  10. A soldier is willing to lay down His life so that others may have freedom from oppression.
  11. Jesus laid down His life  to win our freedom from sin’s oppression.
  12. A soldier faces the enemy at the front.
  13. Jesus faced man’s sin and
    God’s judgment on the cross.
  14. A soldier often bears the wounds of war in his body.
  15. Jesus bears scars on His hands and side – the wounds of war.
  16. A soldier returns home
    alive or in a coffin.
  17. Jesus died, rose &      returned to His Father in Heaven.
  18. A heroic soldier is given a Medal of Honor.
  19. Jesus will be honored by all:Every knee will bow & every tongue will confess that He is Lord!
  20. A wounded soldier is given a Purple Heart.
  21. Jesus should be given the
    grateful hearts of us all.
  22. Lord Jesus, You gave me your life…I give you my heart!I love you.
